BSNL Bharat Phone for Common Men of India at Rs. 1,099

India has now achieved a new phone which is completely an Indian device by its nature. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) India has launched a smartphone which is a very low cost device and made for the Indians who can't afford the high-end device which is priced at Rs. 1,099 only.

The new smartphone of BSNL has come preloaded with e-governance applications and specially introduced for common men. The phone is engraved with the name of "Bharat Phone" on the back side and dubbed with the same name. BSNL Chairman, R.K. Upadhyay said, "The low-cost mobile device will alter the Indian feature phone industry as it has been designed especially for e-governance applications and optimised for internet access to empower common man."

The phone is designed and made to aware the common man about internet technology by adding internet support in the handset. It is developed and designed by Pantel Technologies Ltd which is the low-cost tablet PC manufacturer in India. The Government Organisation is blessing common man with this phone which will previously come bundled with alluring voice plan.

"The mobile handset offers common man the power of internet access at an affordable price and will benefit a wide section of society," he also added. Bhart Phone will be capable of browsing internet, accessing e-mail, Facebook and downloading Java games, music and video.

On the rear end, it gets 1.3 mega pixel camera for capturing images. It is fueled by lithium-ion battery which promises 15 days of standby time on eight-hours of charging. The smartphone is coupled with 64MB of RAM and 64MB of built-in storage. The device is also equipped with multimedia gaming, SMS scheduler and mobile tracker also.
