Coolpad Mega 2.5D Goes on Sale From 2pm Today at Amazon

Coolpad, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm put its new selfie smartphone on flash sale today at 2pm on Amazon India. The new Coolpad 2.5D Android smartphone was released on 10 August priced at 6,999. According to the company, this model has crossed half of a million registrations in the online market. Registrations of the smartphone are still available, and in case you did not register the smartphone today, another chance will be given in the next sale going to be held on August 31 at 2pm.

Syed Tajudin, CEO, Coolpad India stated in a press statement, “We are humbled by this overwhelming response and crossing the half-million registration mark in such a short time. The users have displayed immense faith in Coolpad and we are ready to deliver on their expectations. We thank our fans for helping us cross the half million registrations mark and believe that Coolpad is a force to reckon with.”

The new GSM-based handset is a selfie-based mobile phone, blessed with some smart beautification modes and an awesome feature to detect the age of the user. It’s 8MP front shooter is the main center of attraction of the device, which is capable of developing great selfies in this range.

Coolpad Mega 2.5D features a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with 294 ppi pixel density and powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, coupled with Mali T720 GPU. The handset comes with 3GB RAM with 16GB of inbuilt memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with it’s own Cool UI 8.0 on top. The Dual-SIM smartphone is blessed with an 8MP rear camera with flash and is backed up by 2500mAh battery, promising 9 hours of talk time. Additionally, the device also supports 4G VoLTE apart from other standard connectivity options.
