Chinese Mobile Maker Gionee keeps showing its versatility by presenting its mid range smartphones and spread their products in Indian market with technologically strong features. Now the company has again made its entry in Indian market with new mid range smartphone CTRL V5 with the price tag of Rs. 12,999. It is available for purchasing from company's official e-store. Company had previously announced several smartphones in the CTRL series. The previous CTRL series smartphone CTRL V4 was launched last year in June.
When you will look the phone from the specifications point of view then, you will find the phone has not made any updation in specs and features. It comes with dual SIM support and features 4.7-inch qHD IPS display with the screen resolution of 540×960 pixels. It is paired with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and comes equipped with quad-core MediaTek (MT6582V) processor and performs well at 1.3GHz CPU frequency.
1GB of RAM is perfectly shipped with Gionee CTRL V5. Its 8GB built-in storage provides enough space to the device for storing huge amount of data. On the other side, it is also blessed with microSD card slot that can be expandable upto 32GB. Back of the handset is furnished with 8MP of camera and front side gets 2MP camera. It gets the feature of 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity purpose. The main somber thing about the phone is poor battery which has the 1800mAh capacity and delivers only 14.5 hours of talk time.
