Gionee Elife S5.1 Held The Position In The Guinness Book of World Records

Gionee Elife S5.1 has marked its position in The Guinness Book of World Records as the slimmest smartphone. The manufacturer worked hard on it to make it world’s slimmest smartphone. The phone comes with 5.1mm body, which is the first ever slimmest smartphone being manufactured by the company. The phone has been launched in China, but we have to wait until November to witness the slimness of the device.

Gionee Smartphones India Head Arvind Vohra said to PTI “We are excited to have made it to the Guinness World Records for the world's thinnest smartphone category. The Gionee Elife S5.1 has been launched in China and will be available in India by early November.”

Let’s talk about it specs sheet, the device comes in a thin 5.1mm shell comprising in both metal and glass. The Gionee Elife S5.1 runs on Android 4.3 with 2.0 UI on-board. Moreover, the device gets 4.8 inch Super AMOLED 720p display that gives a better resolution and it comes with 1.2GHz quad core Qualcomm snapdragon processor coupled with 1GB of RAM that will hold the temporary files, which make it more smooth and easy to access and 16GB on-board storage allows you to store your important data, music, videos and images.

The camera quality is too pretty much standard; make your every movement memorable and enjoyable with its flash enabled 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Whereas, the 2100 mAh power bank ensures for a good backup.
