Gionee Elife S6 to Unveil on November 16 Event

Gionee is up to the launch of its flagship Elife series smartphone with the previous launch of Elife E8 hold the ground this month. The new launch of the Elife series handset has Elife S6 smartphone to furnish the field. The smartphone ranks 4th in the 'Elife S' series after Elife S7, Elife S5.1 and Elife S5.5. The company has sent the invites for the great event to be held on November 16 for the launch of the flagship device.

No further information has yet been unveiled but as per the design constraint of the smartphone, Gionee Elife S series device features slim design and build, so we can expect the Elife S6 to flaunt a slim body as well. The smartphone has heeded more to get launch in India with its predecessor had also hit the ground of Indian market.

The upcoming handset is expected to be the same as configured on Tenaa through its certification. The device specified on the certification panel has been presented under the codename GN9007. The smartphone featured to sport a 5-inch Amoled display with HD (720*1280 pixels) resolution. It has under the hoods a quite heavy working processor to support multi tasking. The processor being, the octa-core MediaTek SoC clocked at 1.3GHz, is coupled with 2GB RAM.

The device runs on Amigo 3.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. On the snapper's edge, it has 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It is housed with 16GB expandable storage. It measures 6mm in thickness which corroborates the naming convention.

The company earlier launched F103 smartphone that was made in India for the first time. The device was manufactured by Foxconn in its Visakhapatnam factory. Further it launched Elife E8 smartphone at Rs. 34,999 in India. The major highlight being its 24-megapixel rear camera that with software can stitch together and produce images up to 120 megapixels in resolution.
