Gionee, the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturer, on Monday, unveiled its M6S Plus smartphone along with some really interesting and impressive specifications in the home country. The handset is blessed with a gigantic 6020 mAh battery, which keeps it running throughout the day along with 6GB of RAM for a soothing performance.
The Android smartphone will be made available in two storage variants, which includes a 64GB variant priced at CNY 3,499 (Rs 32,800 approx) and a 256GB variant priced at CNY 4,299 (Rs 40,200 approx). The device has already been up for pre-bookings and has been fixed to be available in the Chinese market on May 2, 2017.
Concerning the specifications, the Dual-SIM handset packs a 6-inch full-HD Oncell AMOLED display of resolution 1080x1920 pixels and runs Amigo3.5 OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is powered by a 1.95GHz Snapdragon 653 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone also holds the availability of a fingerprint sensor at the rear side below the camera module.
In term of optics, the GSM smartphone features a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front shooter is also provided by the company for selfie enthusiasts. As we have already mentioned, it is backed up by a massive 6020 mAh battery and includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, USB OTG, 3.5mm headphone jack, and GPS as connectivity options on board.
Sensor part of the smartphone includes a light sensor, gravity sensor, electronic compass, compass, gyro, and proximity sensor. According to the company, the smartphone provides security features associated with payment options to the users, and the new live fingerprint scanning feature uses user’s fingerprint as well as heart rate to verify his/her identity.
