Chinese manufacturer Gionee has unveiled a brand new entry-level smartphone dubbed as Gionee P5 Mini, the device is powered by means of a quad-core 1.3GHz Mediatek MT6580M chipset, and sports a 4.5-inch (854 x 480-pixel resolution) IPS screen.
Gionee P5 Mini is a GSM smartphone that incorporates 1GB RAM and 8GB expandable internal memory, and packs in a 1,800mAh battery. In terms of camera, the device features a 5MP rear unit as well as a 2MP front shooter. Measuring 132x 66 x 9.1mm and weighing in at 153g, the handset offer double SIM functionality and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Connectivity options in Gionee P5 Mini include Bluetooth, Wlan, micro USB 2.0, and GPS System, while options include black, blue, and white. The unveiling took place in Nigeria. There is presently no info on its cost and release date. Also not known is whether or not it'll be available for sale in other marketplaces.
