Gionee Renames GN9007 to Gionee S5.1 Pro

Gionee, as promised has come up with the new launches this year. The new launch before the IFA event is a leading smartphone to furnish high specs with in the range. The phone was earlier named as GN9007, but with the launch, the company has renamed the handset to Gionee S5.1 Pro. The name mentions the model as well as the Android platform supported.

The device has been certified by TENAA in China. Earlier this year, when the launch date was announced, the handset got the model number as its name, which sets exactly between its flagship series smartphone as, Gionee Elife S7 and Elife S8. Thus, the name so confirmed was Gionee Elife S7 mini, but with the pace of time, the company decided to rename it to Gionee S5.1 Pro that runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The expected availability date has not yet decided, but the rate has been fixed in $300 range. The dual SIM smartphone is slim with 6.45mm width. It supports 4G LTE connectivity to withstand the fourth generation smart devices. Further, the handset has a huge display panel with a screen size of 5-inch. It looks just like its predecessor as Gionee S5.1, but has a higher resolution of 720*1280 pixels.

The gadget is not only sanctified with the huge screen, but provides a pixel density of 294ppi. It is hooded with MediaTek MT6753 SoC with octa-core CPU and the PowerVR G6200 GPU. The on-board storage is of 16GB which is coupled qith 2GB RAM. It has 2400mAh battery which keeps the generator on to provide backup support. Android 5.1 is pre-installed with the Gionee Amigo3.1 skin on top. The snapper's edge is blessed with 13MP rear camera and 8MP front facing camera for selfies and video conferences. The device is expected soon in the market.
