Google Pixel and Pixel XL Onboard to India; Available from October 25

After relying on other smartphone firms like HTC and Samsung for years, recently, Google has come up with its first self-made handsets to get a head to head with its rivals. Christened as Pixel and Pixel XL, they are already available for an advanced booking via major online retailers like Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Croma among the others.

Owing to the huge demand of the high-end phones among the Indian consumers, Google has also opened pre-bookings of these units via the said platforms. Well, now it’s time to burn a hole in the pocket, as the search giant has announced that both the devices will start reaching the Indian shores from October 25, this year.

“The future is exciting. And by future, we mean 3 days from now. #Pixel will start reaching stores on 25th October #madebygoogle,” said Google India in a tweet. Looks like, Google is making every possible effort in order to cash more from the market as well as to compete with the likes of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus that were also came into the market earlier this month.

Both the Pixel and iPhone are almost similar in terms of price, design and some others, now, with the time, it will be cleared that the idea of making these devices are propitious or not for Google. Moreover, one who is keen on buying the products can surely can a look at the comparison between iPhone and Pixel smartphone.

Talking about the specs, Google Pixel, is available at a price of INR 57,000 for the 32GB version and for 128GB its price stands at INR 66,000. The Android smartphone further sports a 5.0-inch Corning Gorilla Glass 4 AMOLED display along with a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. In addition, a 2770 mAh non-removable battery is there to run the unit which completely supports fast charging through USB type-C.

Pixel XL, on the other side, will kick out from INR 67,000 for 32GB variant and go up to INR 76,000 for 128GB unit. Furthermore, it features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display altogether with a 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and packed with a 3450 mAh Li-on battery.

Both the smartphones features the same Quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor as well as has same 4GB RAM and 32GB and 128GB storage options. Besides, all the variants will be offered in Very Silver and Quite Black at first followed by the Really Blue shade version in near future.
