Honor 6X With Dual-Rear Camera to Launch on December 23 in India

Honor, the sub-brand of Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei, is all set to end the year with the launch of a new smartphone in India dubbed as Honor 6X with a price tag of Rs 15,000 approx. The corporate has rolled out media invitations for an occurrence scheduled for December 23. The invitations read, 'Swag phone coming soon. Catch a glimpse of the swagster at a special preview'. The invite does not reveal the name of the device, however, if speculations are to be believed the firm can launch the honor 6X.

A few days ago, the company had introduced this smartphone in China and got a fair appraisal by the people arround there.The Honor 6X Android smartphone features a 5.5-inch full-HD display of resolution 1080X1920 pixels with a 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by company's homemade octa-core Kirin 655 processor clubbed with Mali T830-MP2 GPU and 3GB/4GB RAM.The Dual-SIM handset also gets 32GB/64GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be further expanded via microSD card.

Concerning the optical part, just like the Honor 8, the Honor 6X's dual-rear camera setup also comes with 6P Lens and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) tech, the primary camera features a 12MP sensor, the secondary rear camera features a 2MP one. At the front, the device offers an 8MP camera for taking selfies and video chat.

The Honor 6X GSM handset also comes with a fingerprint detector at the rear side, placed right below the camera. This 4G VoLTE supporting device is backed by a 3,340mAh battery with quick charging technology. It runs on EMUI 4.1 supported Android 6.0 Marshmallow, measures a 150.9x76.2x8.2mm and weighs 162 grams.
