Honor 9i Launched In India With Four Cameras At Rs. 17,999

Huawei terminal brand Honor has launched a new mobile in India dubbed as Honor 9i smartphone with four cameras and a 5.9-inch FullView display for the Indian buyers. This latest smartphone is pretty similar to the Huawei Maimang 6, which was launched in China a month ago, and the Huawei Nova 2i that was launched in Malaysia. The new Honor 9i price in India is Rs. 17,999, and the handset will be exclusively available via Flipkart from October 14. It will be made available in three color variants of Platinum Gold, Navy Blue, and Midnight Black.

The Huawei at the launch occasion has also launched a 10000mAh Quick Charge Power Bank, valued at Rs 2.399. It will be available through the Honor online store for India, with a Diwali offer until October 28 at the discounted price of Rs. 1,999.

Honor 9i Specs And Features

The new Honor 9i comes with a FullView display which is the major highlight of the gadget and has an 18:9 aspect ratio. Another major feature of the Honor 9i is it's four cameras: two at the front and two at the back. Double cameras on the two boards imply that the handset is fit for clicking Bokeh shots. Much like Huawei 8 Pro, the new Honor 9i also facilitates users with a feature to readjust the focus after the photo has been shot while also allows to choose different Bokeh effects.

The Huawei at the launch occasion has also said that the Honor 9i has the 'Huawei Histen audio system' from its 2012 Lab, algorithmically capable of enhancing the audio quality. Honor 9i has additionally been featuring Bluetooth aptX along with some gesture-based shortcuts named 'draw an S' for a long screenshot to capture an entire webpage. For this, the user needs to 'tap twice with one finger' for a screenshot, and 'tap twice with two fingers' for screen recording.

The Honor 9i sports a 5.9-inch full-HD display along with metal unibody outline and has been incorporated with of 1080x2160 pixels (FHD+) and accompanies a screen to body ratio of 83 percent. At the front, it has a 13-megapixel sensor along with a 2-megapixel sensor for depth of field enabled shots and at the back, there's a 16-megapixel sensor clubbed with a 2-megapixel optional camera sensor.

The handset has been powered by an octa-core Kirin 659 processor clocked at 2.36GHz combined with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. This latest Honor mobile is based on EMUI 5.1 and operates on Android 7.0 Nougat. It has been equipped with a 3340mAh battery which can provide the two days of standby time.
