HTC has finally shipped its Butterfly 2 smartphone in the South Asian market that was unveiled first in Japan as J Butterfly. This handset will first reach in the market of Taiwan on September 2 and then will enter in other markets including India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
This handset supports single SIM and operates on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It gets a 5-inch full-HD display that is capable enough to offer screen resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 and quad-core processor come together to boost the performance at 2.5GHz clock speed.
There is a 2GB of RAM which is coupled in device to provide smooth experience. Butterfly 2 comes integrated with 16GB and 32GB built-in storage. There is a microSD card slot also in device to offer more data storage of upto 128GB. It comes with dual camera which can be seen on HTC One (M8) also. There is a 13MP of camera, crafted on the rear panel to gives stunning image output. A 5MP front-facing camera also houses on device to offer great output.
Butterfly 2 is featured with Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with DLNA, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with MHL, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G and 4G LTE support to solve the connectivity purpose. There is a potent battery of 2700mAh unit works in a manner to provide ergastic battery backup with a talk time of up to 23.9 hours on 3G and standby time of up to 643 hours.
With IPX5 and IPX7 certificate, HTC Butterfly 2 is water resistant and dust proof. The front of the device is also mated with dual front stereo speakers along with Company’s BoomSound technology to offer stupendous sound and audio quality which is much better than HTC One (M8).
