HTC Desire 820 Loaded with Snapdragon 615 in a Colorful Livery

Here comes the most unexpected entry in the Desire Family of HTC, the all new HTC Desire 820 has taken birth at the pre-IFA 2014 Event, which was going on in Berlin. The newly introduced smartphone will be following the success steps of the mid-range HTC Desire 816, which was launched in the month of February, 2014 at MWC.

The top-notch feature of the HTC Desire 820 is its 64-bit Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 615 Processor, which will be incorporated by the upcoming Android L. The storage capacity of this device has been increased as compared to the Desire 816, it is featuring 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expandable via microSD card of up to 128GB. It has a 5.5 inch HD screen with a resolution of 720x1080 pixels and also packs up dual-SIM (Nano) feature. The smartphone weighs 155 grams.

The HTC Desire 820 currently running on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat version and can be upgradable to the upcoming Android L version. On the connectivity front, the manufacturer has added so many features such as Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, 3G/4G LTE connectivity. The 2600 mAh battery back-up of the smartphone gives you more than enough time to spend with your HTC Desire 820. It delivers 22.4 hrs of talk time and 424 hrs of stand-by time (3G).

Well, the camera quality is another eye-catching feature of the HTC Desire 820. The manufacturer has given 13 MP rear camera along with LED Flash and BSI sensor rather than the front which gets 8 MP secondary camera. Peter Chou, at HTC says, "With the HTC Desire 820, we've combined the most advanced technology with the best possible entertainment experience and bold, distinctive design, to deliver a handset that is both desirable and affordable".

The newly launched HTC smartphone also supports the HTC Dot View case to give you immediate access without unlocking your smartphone. The HTC Desire will make its availability in the late September worldwide in a colorful livery. The company will be offering a variety of 5 blooming colors.
