HTC Launched U11 'Squeezable Smartphone' in India at Rs 51,990

Exactly after one month of its global launching, HTC U11 has finally made its way to India with a price tag of Rs 51,990. The India launched variant of the handset includes 6GB RAM/128GB inbuilt storage and will be available via Amazon India as well as all the mobile retailers across the country by the last month of June 2017. Pre-orders of the new smartphone will start from June 17, and the customers who pre-order the smartphone via company’s official online store, will be offered an HTC flip cover worth Rs 1,999 for free.

The highlighting feature of the premium handset is its fabulous design along with an all new Edge Sense technology, which provides you with an all new way to interact with your smartphone by squeezing the sides. It will be available in Amazing Silver and Brilliant Black colour variants in India. Moreover, the company is also providing a limited time offer for the customers purchasing the HTC U11 using a Standard Chartered Debit/ Credit card, under which they can get 10 percent cash back on the MOP value of the smartphone.

HTC U11 Squeeze Feature

Concerning its design, the HTC U11 is blessed with a metal and glass body along with a glossy back. But the edges of the smartphone are the most interesting part in it. The edges include a new Edge Sense feature, which allows you to access the applications such as camera and send texts just by squeezing the handsets from its sides. The device also allows you to customise the squeeze gestures to launch your desired application or game.

Coming next to the specifications, as it is a flagship model, you will get all the high-end specifications in the handset. The Android smartphone features a 5.5-inch Quad HD Super LCD display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It lacks the availability of a 3.5mm audio jack, but the company has tried to compensate it by providing a 3.5mm audio jack to USB Type-C adapter.
