Despite being in limelight due to state-of-the-art: One M9 and numerous hearsay about upcoming device: One M9 Plus, HTC has again managed to come in headlines by manufacturing two more smartphones of One lineup: One E9 and One E9 Plus. Apparently, tech giant is intended to expand its offering in this booming mobile industry in order to gain more market shares and leveraging.
To recall, it is not the first rumor or tiding regarding upcoming E-series device because a high-end handset baptized as One E9 has already been passed through a Chinese Certification Agency: TENAA, whereby its almost facets came into view. But now, the famed tipster: Upleaks has come with some new buzzes and suggesting about two variants of this mobile phone.
If the reports are to be believed, then we can say that Taiwanese giant has adopted a new trend of crafting large and small variants of its flagships. Notably, @upleaks has averred that a previously leaked mobile phone with 5.5-inch screen size is basically a phablet and it will be named as One E9 Plus (A55), while its smaller companion with 5-inch screen has been claimed to be designated as One E9 (A53).
Talking about the specifications, both the handsets will feature plastic body and Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system based on HTC Sense 7.0 UI. But, according to the reports, larger one will be decked with WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixel resolution) Display, 20MP main camera and it will run on 64-bit MediaTek octa-core MT6795 processor. On the other hand, second edition has been said to incorporate FHD Display along with 13-megapixel large circular camera with a flash centered on top of panel. The comprisal of stereo BoomSound front-facing speakers and quad-core Snapdragon 805 CPU has also been mentioned by informants.
Well, there is no word related to pricing and availability of One E9 and One E9 Plus, so we will have to wait till April 8 event, where HTC is going to debut its hotly-anticipated smartphone: One M9 Plus and we can expect some words regarding these two handhelds.
