Huawei has debuted a successor of Honor 6 smartphone, which is baptized as Honor 6 Extreme Edition. The device has made its first glimpse at an event in Beijing, China that was held on 13th of October. Notably, the firm has announced that only 9,999 units will be manufactured of this Android KitKat 4.4-based handheld. And, it has been said to be arrayed with top-tier specs along with plenty of unique features.
Diving into this newly launched product of Huawei, which is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core Kirin 928 Kirin SoC processor, instead of regular 1.3GHz Kirin 920 processor. It is packed with Mali T628MP4 GPU alongside a 3,100mAh Non-removable battery. Also, this China based tech giant has specially designed some accessories for the device such as 0.2mm tempered glass screen protector, headphones and two NFC tags.
On the storage front, the device renders more storage capacity than its predecessor. Here, it is armed with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory that can be enlarged up to 128GB via a microSD slot. Taking about the connectivity, then it flaunts LTE-A Cat.6, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS options.
Notably, the device is a replica of Honor 6 at some aspects. At this place, the gadget has retained the similar outlook and demonstrates a 5 -inch full-HD display that bestows a pixel resolution of 1080x1920p. The inclusion of 13-megapixel rear cam with LED flash alongside a 5-megapixel selfie snapper also makes it identical to its lower-priced sibling.
However, the smartphone will be available for Pre-orders from October 21 with a price tag of CNY 2,999 that is approximately Rs. 29,900. But, there is no information about the global launch of Honor 6 Extreme Edition.
