Huawei C8818: Yet Another Mid-Range Smartphone with Competent Hardware

Soon after launching 4G-enabled smartphone: SnapTo, now Huawei has more expanded the lineup of mid-range handsets by manufacturing a novel device, which has been named as C8818. Notably, this Android 4.4 KitKat based gadget has been passed through Chinese Certifications Agency: TENAA, whereby its images and full specifications have been disclosed before an official announcement.

As per TENAA, the yet-to-be launched member of C881X family has been paired with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with LED Flash and its front panel is coupled with a 5-megapixel sensor. The phone features most popular screen-size of 5-inch and its TFT display produces a pixel resolution of 1280×720p.

Running on Android 4.4 KitKat, mobile phone is housed with some advanced sensors such as gravity, proximity and light sensors. According to a report of GizmoChina, Huawei C8818 is engineered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor, which has a clock frequency of 1.5GHz.

To take the full advantage of this multitasking processor as well as to run the apps seamlessly, handheld incorporates 2GB RAM in its shell. On memory front, it has been claimed that smartphone is armed 8GB of expandable internal that is extendable upto 32GB via a MicroSD card.

The one more highlighted part of this forthcoming device is availability of 4G LTE connectivity, which is currently known as one of the major factor in success of smartphones. Clubbed with dual SIM card slots, C8818 will support only CDMA networks rather than GSM and could be priced around CNY 1000, says GizmoChina.

Moreover, phone will be showcased on the shelves of retail stores with 143.3×71.9×8.8 mm dimension and a weighing a 162 grams. Judging the specifications, it is worth to state that handset will gain a good leveraging if it will be launched with a competitive price.
