Huawei Honor 7i unveiled with 13MP Rotating camera and a side Fingerprint Scanner

In the battlefield of the smartphones, Huawei Honor launched its warrior smartphone, Huawei Honor 7i at an event on the Chinese ground. The device is now available for the pre-order with a price tag of 1,599 Yuan (~Rs 16,400) for the China Mobile version. Meanwhile, the China Telecom and China Unicom versions are priced at 1,699 Yuan (~Rs 17,500) and 1,899 Yuan (~Rs 19,500) respectively. The company has launched the smartphones in white, black and gold color variants.

The main eye catching feature of the handset is its camera as it is equipped with only one 13- megapixel rotating flip-up camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash. The camera can be rotated upto 180-degree similar to Oppo N1 smartphone. However, instead of rotating the whole top of the phone designers have managed to rotate only the camera module. The rear camera can go up to 180 degrees to transform into a selfie snapper and can also adopt various other angles for creative shots. In addition, the camera includes features like Rotating Lens, Geo-Tagging, and Touch Focus.

The company has also added that the camera comes with SLR grade image signal processor, translating into better low light performance, balance and less noise.

In terms of specifications, the new smartphone features a 5.2-inch FHD LCD display and it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 64-bit octa-core processor, reportedly much stable and low power consuming than its previous generation, paired with 3GB RAM and includes an internal storage at 32GB.

The device also enabled with 4G LTE, dual-SIM functionality, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC. The Android Lollipop-based device running atop Emotion UI and will be packed by a 3100mAh battery.
