Huawei Launched Honor 8 Lite With Android 7.0 Nougat, 3000mAh Battery at Rs 17,999

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor, on Thursday, introduced the younger sibling of its Honor 8 dubbed as Honor 8 Lite with a price tag of Rs 17,999 (MOP) in India. The handset runs Android 7.0 Nougat, backed up by a 3000mAh battery, and will be available in its Premium Black colour variant from Friday via offline retailers in the country. The company has only introduced the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant in the country, and will also make its blue colour variant available later this month in the country.

The Android smartphone has already made its debut back in February this year in Finland, and it looks a lot like its elder sibling the Honor 8 smartphone. The front and back of the handset are blessed with a ravishing 2.5D curved-edge glass along with a metal frame all around, just like the Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones. The volume and power buttons are embedded at the right edge of the smartphone, while the hybrid SIM-tray is placed at the left side. Moreover, the handset also packs two speaker grilles on the bottom and a 3.5mm audio jack on the top of it.

Honor 8 Lite

In term of specifications, the Dual-SIM smartphone is very similar to the refreshed Huawei P8 Lite (2017), which was launched recently with minor differences. The Honor 8 Lite is blessed with a 5.2-inch full-HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and 2.5D curved glass protection. It is powered by the company’s Kirin 655 octa-core CPU coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

The optical part of the GSM smartphone features a 12-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus. An 8-megapixel front shooter with a 77-degree wide-angle lens is also provided by the company for selfie enthusiasts. Moreover, it is backed up by a 3000mAh battery, weighs 147 grams and is 7.6mm thin.
