Huawei rumored to unveil Honor Play 5X on October 10

Huawei has recently worked upon its Nexus 6P to place the Nexus series smartphone in the market. Just after it, the company has marked the bench with the flagship Honor series smartphone as Honor Play 5X. According to a teaser, it is rumored to launch on October 10. the company on its Weibo account mentioning the date has initiated with the teaser to hitch the ground.

The Android Headlines spotted the teaser, but was not able to detect the product, its specifications or price. But as per the previous reports, the smartphone is designed to feature 5-inch 1280*720 pixels display with 720p frame. It is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz, that is coupled with 2GB RAM. The device is a smartphone running Android 5.0 Lollipop topped up with company's own Emotion UI. It has a backed storage of 1GB that is expandable upto 32GB via microSD card. The snapper's edge is sanctified with 13MP rear and 5MP front camera.

On comparing the device with the last month rumored Huawei Honor 5X, it is noted that the Honor 5X has a bigger and better resolution display, more RAM, and bigger inbuilt storage. Coming on to the specifications, the device portrays 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080*1920 pixels resolution. It runs Android 5.1.1 and is said to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 octa-core SoC paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It is coupled with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card.

At the shooter's front, Honor 5X places 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash at the back panel and  5-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity edge, it supports 3G, Wi-Fi and other standard connectivity options, as per the listing. The main feature carried by both the smartphones is 4G enabled LTE connectivity, adding up with the same snapper's edge on both sides.
