iBall Andi Sprinter 4G launched with Universal IR Remote at Rs.7,099

The domestic handset maker, iBall has unveiled a new device featuring alluring specs within the budget range. iBall Andi Sprinter 4G is the smartphone that supports 4G LTE band at a price tag of Rs. 7,099. It has a new key feature which is the inclusion of a Universal IR Remote application. The Infrared Remote has an IR transmitter that enables the handset to let users control their television sets, set top boxes, DVD players and many more.

The dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. It bears a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with a pixel density of around 195.9ppi and resolution of 480x854 pixels. It houses 8GB of inbuilt storage out of which 4.40GB is user accessible. The storage is further expandable to 32GB via microSD card.

The snapper’s edge is sanctified with 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and 3.2-megapixel front-facing secondary camera. It packs a 2100mAh battery that is supposed to deliver a longer talk time hours. It comes in Special Gold and Wine color variants. On the connectivity front, it offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, Micro-USB and Bluetooth options. It also supports Indian 4G LTE bands (Bands -3, 8, and 40).

The company has also introduced Cobalt Solus 4G in September at a price tag of Rs. 11,999. The device has higher specs in terms of display, camera and RAM, but since Andi Sprinter is the latest launch, so it bears some preloaded apps as Privacy Guard, Backup and Restore, BlackBox, Citrus Cube, Clean Master, Hungama Music and others. The latest launch also carries support for 9 regional languages and 21 preloaded languages supporting keyboard. A protective cover comes free with the device for the customers at this price point.
