Intex technology has unveiled a new smartphone Cloud Swift, adding another smartphone into its portfolio. The smartphone goes for pre order on Snapdeal at a price tag of Rs.8, 888. However, it will go on sale from October 20. Notably, the company has not revealed its price in the press conference, it is listed on the Snapdeal and tagged as ‘sold out’ at the time of writing this news.
The smartphone features a 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by MediaTek (MT6735A) chipset that has a 64 bit quad core processor. The device runs on the Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system and for the protection it is covered with Dragontrail glass.
The 4G enabled smartphone clubs a 3GB of RAM and have the internal storage of 16GB which is further expandable upto 128GB via MicroSD card slot expansion. Additionally, the smartphone has a bunch of preloaded apps such as Chaatz, Gaana, Hotstar, Skype, Follo, OneDrive, Newshunt, Clean Master, InMobi Services, OLX and Opera Mini. It is also enables with the Matrabhasha service, which lets you to enable communication in 21 regional languages including Hindi.
Intex revealed in a press release that, "Features in Cloud Swift include Smart Wake that allows one to access camera, music, files, or any other feature without unlocking the phone by drawing C, M & W on the screen. Also features HotKnot, with it one can share photos, movies, videos et al by simply taking Cloud Swift screen closer to the screen of the other mobile and sharing process is ON. Air Shuffle is another that allows users to operate the phone with simple hand gestures without touching the screen."
On the camera side, the handset sports an 8 MP camera at the rear end with LED flash and 5 megapixel camera at the front end. The smartphone comes with a 1 year screen breakage warranty. Connectivity options include 3G (HSPA+), 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The device will be available in two different premium color variants including Champagne and Gray and is backed by 2500mAh battery. It is said to offer a talk time of up to 7-8 hours and a standby time of 400-500 hours.
