Intex Launches Aqua Lions 3 At Rs. 6,499: Has 4G VoLTE Support

Intex, the renowned smartphone maker of India has launched a new budget mobile dubbed as Aqua Lions 3. This latest Intex smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs. 6,499 with 4G LTE support along with swift key integration. This is the second addition to company's Aqua series of smartphones in less than a week. The company only a few days ago had launched another Aqua phone named Aqua Selfie. The smartphone at this price range would compete against the likes of Moto C Plus, Xiaomi Redmi 4, Moto E3 Power, Redmi 4A and many of Intex's own phones. Intex Aqua Lions 3 comes preloaded with apps such as Gaana and Prime Video. Users will also get QR code scanner and Xender app pre-installed on the phone.

The Intex Aqua Lions 3 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS OnCell display supported with 2.5D curved glass. The display is protected with the DragonTrail glass. Like a typical Aqua series phone, Aqua Lions 3 comes with broad bezels at the top and bottom. The upper bezel consists of a selfie camera, a flash light, and a speaker grill while at the bottom there are usual 3 button- back button, home button and an overview button. The right edge of the phone carries the volume rocker and power button.

On the back, there is a camera with horizontally aligned flash light. The company's name is inscribed in the middle of the rear body and audio grills are at the bottom. The phone weighs 132gms with battery. Just like the Aqua Selfie, the Aqua Lions 3 runs on Android Nougat and powered with a 1.25GHz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM. The smartphone comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage that's expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. Aqua Lions 3 comes with 8MP (AF) front and 8MP (FF) rear camera powered with Front LED & Rear LED flash.

The Intex Aqua Lions 3 comes with decent battery size of 4000mAh. The phone is an upgrade over its predecessor from the storage and battery point of view. The Aqua Selfie 4G comes with only 2000mAh battery and only 8GB internal storage. The phone supports 4G, WiFi, OTG cable support, BlueTooth. The smartphone is available at Rs 6,499 selling across all retail and branded outlets.
