Itel A44 Power Launched In India At Rs 5,999

Itel, Hong Kong-based Transsion Holdings has introduced a new smartphone in India, dubbed as Itel A44 Power. The key highlights of Itel A44 Power include a larger 4,000mAh battery, dual rear cameras, 18:9 aspect ratio, Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) and face unlock feature. It has been launched at an affordable price in the Indian market. Itel is a brand of Transsion Holdings, which also has some other brands such as Infinix and Tecno in the Indian market. 

Itel A44 Power Price in India

In India, the Itel A44 comes with a price tag of Rs. 5,999. The deliveries of the device have commenced from November 19, 2018 across India. The company is offering a 100-day replacement warranty on the purchase of Itel A44. The launch offers have not been revealed by the company yet. It is available in three color options including Aqua Blue, Champagne Gold, and Deep Grey.

Goldee Patnaik, Head of Marketing Itel Business Unit stated in a press release while addressing at the launch event, “Itel A44 Power brings with it the powerful 4,000mAh Li-Polymer battery for our target audience along with 5.45-inch FWVGA+ 'Full Screen' Display and dual rear cameras at a budget-friendly price point."

Itel A44 Power Specifications

The Itel A44 Power features a 5.45-inch FWGA+ display. The smartphone offers 18:9 aspect ratio and the screen resolution of 480x960 pixels.

From the software front, it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) which is developed particularly for entry-level smartphones. Inside, it has been equipped with a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at up to 1.4GHz.

For storing data, the company has offered 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage on the Itel A44 Power which can be further extended up to 32GB by using a microSD card.

In terms of optics, the Itel A44 Power features dual cameras on the rear panel consisting of a 5MP primary sensor and a VGA (0.3-megapixel) secondary sensor. The rear camera setup comes with a flash module which is positioned on the right-hand side of the device. For selfies and video calling, there is a 2MP front-facing camera accompanied by an LED flash.

Itel A44 Power has a battery back up of 4,000mAh which is touted to render 3 days of battery backup. Alongside Itel A44 Power, the users will get ‘OTG Power Bank' functionality which allows users to charge other smartphones. The smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, ViLTE, dual- sim.
