iVoomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm has made its debut in the Indian market by launching its iVoomi iV505 with a price tag of Rs 3,999, which is available via ShopClues. The company on Monday said that it will be focused on introducing mid-ranged and budget smartphones.
Bradley Yan, Global Business head, iVoomi, in a statement said, “We are committed to establish iVOOMi in the Indian market with our innovative products loaded with highly valued Smart Me OS (Customised OS) and features at an affordable price.”
The Android smartphone features a 5-inch QHD HD display of resolution 540 X 960 pixels and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Powering the smartphone is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It also packs 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
In term of optics, the GSM handset includes a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash along with a 5-megapixel front facing shooter for selfie enthusiasts. The dual-SIM smartphone is backed up by a 3000mAh battery along with a fast charging support and supports 4G connectivity in both slots.
Connectivity options on the board includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The company is also planning to unveil for new handsets in India ranging from Rs. 4,000 to Rs 10,000. It also has further plans of opening research and development and manufacturing unit in the country by 2019.
