Karbonn Quattro L55 HD With VR Headset Launched in India

Karbonn Mobiles - a mobile manufacturing unit working as a joint venture of both the Bangalore (United Telelinks Limited) and Noida (Jaina Marketing & Associates) listed its another Android smartphone Karbonn Quattro L55 HD last week.

Taking one step forward the company has now officially launched the Karbonn Quattro L55 for Rs 9,990 along with a VR headset and as per the reports, the handset comes with 4G VoLTE support.

The newly launched product is a Dual-SIM smartphone that operates on Kandy UI v1.0 that is based on Android Lollipop OS out-of-the-box. In terms of display, it has a 5.5-inch IPS display that gives a resolution of 1280x720 pixels.

Under the hood, the smartphone comes equipped with a quad-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz though its other internal details are still to be found. The GSM-handset further enlists 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash coupled with a 5-megapixel front camera.

Internal storage capacity of this smartphone is quite decent i.e, 16GB and it can be expanded up to 32GB using external microSD card. Also, the device bears a 2700mAh battery power that delivers up to 130 hours of standby time and 9 whole hours of talk time. Not just this, the company even claims that the battery is designed in such a way that user would take only 4 hours to reach the mark of a 100-percent battery.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone comes equipped with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, Micro-USB and it even supports 4G LTE bands of India that includes both the FDD-LTE Band 3, Band 5 and the TDD-LTE band 40. As stated above, the smartphone also supports 4G VoLTE(Voice over LTE) that also happens to be the highlighting factor for this product.

Karbonn Aura Power specs overview

The domestic handset maker also unveiled Aura Power smartphone recently for Rs 5,990. At the time of launch, the company stated its motto behind launching a product as per which the company is targeting the 'growing 4G subscriber base'. Apart from other specifications, the product came with a 4000mAh battery (non-removable) that offered 17 hours of talk time and nearly 1200 hours of standby time.
