Lava Embarked a Budget Smartphone, Iris 500 at Rs. 5,499

The budget portfolio of smartphones has received one more scion, called Lava Iris 500. The homegrown company, Lava has listed the device on its official website with a price tag of Rs. 5,499, but there is no word about its availability details. Apparently, in this session firm has disseminated its Iris series by adding a raft of new gadgets such as Iris 250, 400 Colours and many more.

Shelling out the specs of the newly launched device that bestows a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash on its back panel. Here, the rear camera is housed with several features such as HDR, burst mode, panorama, scene detection and face recognition. The handheld is also paired with a secondary 0.3-megapixel selfie shooter.

The inclusion of 1.3GHz dual-core processor along with Google's Android 4.4 KitKat operating system at an affordable price could the device eye catching among the budget-conscious masses.
