Lava Introduces A50 and A55 Budget Friendly Smartphones in India

Lava, an Indian origin smartphone making company has amusingly offered two budget smartphones which have taken a toll over the pocket by disguising the newly offered smartphone with the budget category. The smartphones are not even 3G capable which most of the dying smartphones are still capable of. The two smartphones namely A50 and A55 will be available for Rs. 3,999 and Rs. 4,399 respectively.

Coming to the specifications, the A50 is packed with a 512MB RAM while the sibling A55 is double on 1GB of it. The smartphones boots on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and are equipped with 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display.

The smartphones come with a built in memory of 8GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD. The Lava A50 and A55 runs on a battery pack of 1550mAh battery which is supposed to give life to the smartphones up to 9 hours of talk time with 2G connectivity. As for the optics, Lava A50 and A55 come with a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash, and a VGA camera at front. The connectivity options are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack and measures 123x63.4x9.65mm.
