Lava Iris 402e Budget Smartphones Launched in India

The rain of the budget smartphones is not taking the pause of slowing down. One more raindrop in the rain Lava Iris 402e has been finally dropped out on the earth of India at the price of Rs. 4,999. The phone can be seen on the company’s official website and also available at the discounted price of Rs. 4,199. It had been listed on the company website last month in June without pricing detail.

The biggest point which makes it the Indian device is its support of 10 Indian languages. The phone is equipped with Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS and features 4-inch WVGA display with screen resolution of 480x800 pixels. It has 512MB RAM to boost the performance with 1GHz dual-core (unspecified chipset) processor.

The Iris 402e is quite attractive handset with 3-megapixel rear camera which is crafted very beautifully on the device. But the unavailability of Flash may disappoint users. A 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also includes in the device.

Lava Iris 402e comes interlaced with 512MB of built-in storage and microSD card slot which has the ability to store the data upto 32GB. The phone leads in the connectivity section with Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi (including hotspot functionality), and GPS support. However, the unavailability of 3G connectivity is the disadvantageous one. On the battery side, Li-Ion battery with 1450mAh unit is enough to boost the energy with a promise of 200 hours of standby time and up to 9 hours and 40 minutes (2G) of talk time.
