The domestic mobile manufacturer Lava has recently cut the ribbon from its wallet-friendly smartphone, labeled Iris 444. The phone has finally reached on e-commerce store Flipkart to buy at Rs. 3,199.
This budget handset has quite appealing specs and built to entice people. New in the Iris series, this device flaunts a 4-inch display which offers average screen output with 800 × 480 pixels. The beautiful device with 2MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera is okay to offer average imaging experience with LED flash on back side.
Weighing 116grams with 63.2x123x11mm dimension, this smartphone can hold in one hand comfortably. However, the manufacturer disappoints while looking at the performance side. The Lava Iris 414 is loaded with 1GHz Cortex A7 processor which is complimented with a very small 256MB RAM. An internal storage of 512MB is also disappointing. However, offering microSD card support for upto 32GB is quite appreciable.
This smartphone though offers great software experience with Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It lacks on connectivity side by offering only 2G network along with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth support. No option for 3G connectivity. A battery of 1400mAh is low, but adaptable for such a budget device.
On the same day when company has made the Iris 444 available to buy, it has also listed NKS 101 tablet on company website in two storage variants.
