Lava Launched X38 With Exciting Features at Just Rs. 7,399

Lava has launched a new 4G VoLTE-supported smartphone X38, priced at Rs. 7,399 in the country. The Android smartphone is currently available only on Flipkart at a price tag of Rs 6,599. As the company has not officially detailed the availability of the model, it is not available in the offline markets.

The Dual-SIM smartphone is based on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS which is powered by a 1GHz quad-core(unspecified) processor coupled with 1GB RAM. Lava X38 is packed up with a 5-inch HD IPS display of resolution 720 X 1280 pixels and 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

The model comes with an 8-megapixels of rear camera with a front-facing shooter of 2-megapixels for selfies, both of which are coupled with LED flash. The smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 bgn, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0 as connectivity options.

The center of attraction in the phone is that the phone is backed up with 4000 mAh Li-Polymer battery, which company claims is capable of providing a backup of 36-hours. The GSM-device measures 155 x 71.8x 8.9mm and weighs up to 162 grams. The phone is featured with a ‘Super Power Saver mode’, which according to the company can extend the standby time up to 546 hours. The device is available in Blue and Grey color variants.

Lava introduced two other Android smartphones in India last month under the moniker X17 and X50 priced at Rs 6,899 and 8,699 respectively. Both of the smartphones are 4G compatible, but the difference is X17 is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow while X50 operates on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
