Lava X41+ Launched in India Priced at Rs 8,999

Lava has introduced its new X-series smartphone in the country with a price tag of Rs 8,999. The handset is already listed on the company’s official, and will soon be available via retail channels across the country.

Concerning the specifications, the Lava X41+ Android smartphone features a 5-inch HD IPS display of resolution 720 X 1280 pixels along with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection and 294 ppi of pixel density. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and packs 32GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.

The GSM handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and is blessed with 4G support, but only on one SIM at a time. According to the company, the handset supports LTE Cat. 4 with up to 150Mbps of download speed and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps. Moreover, it supports FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz), Band 5, and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300 MHz) bands in India along with a support of VoLTE (voice over LTE) and HD call compatibility as a highlight of the device.

In term of optics, the Dual-SIM smartphone packs an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front shooter with LED flash. It is backed up by a 2500mAh battery and includes GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth, FM radio, Micro-USB, and GPS as connectivity options on board.

The Lava X41+ measures 145 x 71.2x8.8mm, weighs 154 grams and will be available in Black and Gold colour variants. Apart from this, the company also introduced two budget smartphones, earlier this month dubbed as the A50 and A55 at Rs 3,999 and 4,399 respectively.
