Lava Z40 Launched in India With the Price Tag of Rs 3,499

The affordable Lava Z40 has shown its face to the Indian markets. The latest smartphone is the part of the Android Go programme of Google which runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition). The Lava Z40 sports a 4-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and has the 8GB of internal storage. The new smartphone comes with dual 4G VoLTE SIM slots and flaunts a 2MP back camera with an LED flash. On Z40, Lava offers ten Indian languages which also includes Hindi. The smartphone also has a K7 external audio PA speaker.

Price of the Lava Z40 in India

The Lava Z40 in India carries a price sticker of Rs 3,499. The smartphone is available in two color options- Black and Gold.

Specifications of the Lava Z40

The Lava Z40 sports a 4-inch TN display with screen resolutions of 400 x 800 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core SoC and has dual-SIM (Nano). The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition).

In terms of the optics, the Lava Z40 carries a 2MP rear camera sensor and an LED flash. At the front, the smartphone has a 2MP camera with an LED flash for selfies and video calling. The smartphone also has a Bokeh mode for capturing the photo.

In terms of the storage, the Lava Z40 comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which can further be expanded up to 64GB through a microSD card slot. In terms of the connectivity, the smartphone comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, dual 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB port, Bluetooth v4.2, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has an accelerator.

In addition, the Lava Z40 measures 125.5 x 63.9 x 11.65mm and packs the capacity of 2,250mAh battery.
