LeEco Launches Le 2 And Le Max 2 Smartphones In India

The Chinese smartphone maker LeEco has launched it's Le 2 and Le Max 2 smartphones in India. It must be noted that the Le 2 is the successor to Le 1s, while Le Max 2 is the successor of Le Max launched in 2015. LeEco haS announced that both the smartphones will be available on Flipkart and LeMall.com, which is the company’s own e-commerce portal. The registrations for both Le 2 and Le Max 2 will start from June 20, and the Le Max 2 will go on sale first on June 28, while the Le 2 will be made available sometime in early July.

The company has claimed that Le 1s is the most successful mobile handset in the price range of Rs 10,000 – Rs 15,000. As we know that this Le 1S smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display like Le 1s, and has been powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset. As the above-mentioned specifications are same in Le 2 some new one has been incorporated such as Le 2 has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage that can not be further extended.

Le 2 has also been included with a new image sensor that has a resolution of 16 megapixels and the front camera is an 8MP one. This smartphone will support 4G LTE bands in India, and won’t support expandable storage. The smartphones also drop 3.5 mm headphone jack in favor of USB Type-C audio port. Le 2 is backed by a 3000mAh battery with USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.The company has shown no intention of Le 2 Pro launching in India.

Apart from this LeEco has also launched its flagship Le Max 2 in India today that features a 5.7-inch Quad HD display and has been powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. LeEco Le Max 2 will be available in both 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. Le Max 2 comes standard with 32GB storage but can also be configured with 64GB internal storage. Le Max has a 21MP rear camera with PDAF and dual-LED flash and the rear camera sensor comes with f/2.0 aperture and supports optical image stabilization. The front camera has an 8MP one capable of recording 1080p videos. This latest Le Max 2 smartphone in India has a 3100mAh battery power.

All the above-mentioned devices will run eUI 5.6 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The LeEco has announced that both the smartphones will be available with 1 year free Supertainment package which LeEco had announced at the launch of Le 1s Eco smartphone. LeEco has also announced that its e-commerce site, LeMall has been made live in India.
