Lenovo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has added two new smartphones in its line up, dubbed as Lenovo A5 and Lenovo K9. The company send the invites to press media in the previous week but does not reveal about the launch timeline.
Both, Lenovo A5 and Lenovo K9 have been launched by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer in India on October 16, 2018.

Lenovo K9 and Lenovo A5 Price
In India, the Lenovo K9 comes with a starting price of Rs. 8,999 for single 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage configuration. It has been launched in Black and Blue color options.
On another hand, the Lenovo A5 comes with a starting price of Rs 5,999 for base 2GB RAM/16GB version and goes up to Rs. 6,999 for high 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage configuration. The company has launched Lenovo A5 in Black and Fine Gold color options. These smartphones will be available for purchase exclusively at Flipkart and users can show their interest by registering themselves at Flipkart.in.
To recall, Lenovo had launched two smartphones, called Lenovo K5 Note and Lenovo A5 during this year in the month of June specifically in the China market.
It is being speculated that these smartphones are now coming to the Indian market, although Lenovo K5 Note (2018)(China variant) might be a remodified name of Lenovo K9. It must be noted that the Lenovo K5 Note was already launched in India in 2016
The Lenovo A5 boasts a 5.45-inch HD+ display along with 18:9 aspect ratio. It has been bundled with Android 8.1 Oreo Operating System. Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek MT6739 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage.
The Lenovo A5 comes with a single rear and front camera that features 13MP and 8MP sensors respectively. It is armed with a massive 4,000mAh battery.
The Lenovo K9 comes with a 6-inch HD+ IPS display with the screen resolution of 1440×720 pixels. In terms of software, the smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box
Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. The Lenovo has offered two storage variants i.e., 3GB RAM+32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM+64GB internal storage of K9.
The Lenovo K9 has dual cameras on the rear panel consisting of a 16MP primary sensor and 2MP secondary sensor along with AI-powered capabilities. Up front, the smartphone gets 8MP selfie snapper featuring beauty mode. The device has a battery back up of 3,760mAh.
