Lenovo A5000 Hits India with Enormous 4000mAh Battery at Rs. 9,999

Its like raining Lenovo smartphones in India. It’s been few days when the Chinese juggernaut had launched A6000 Plus smartphone. And now, one more handset in the A series has been added, the Lenovo A5000. What business the A series smartphones have been bringing for the company, no other handsets can touch that height, even this series has all the affordable handsets. The enticing feature of this series’ handsets is their high-end features.

The handset was initially launched in Russia few days earlier and now has been reached to India. It has listed on company’s TheDoStore with a price tag of Rs. 9,999. The manufacturer has not forgotten its customers’ need and made this device keeping all the needs of its admirers in mind. Well, this new launch was slightly different from Lenovo A6000, A7000 and A6000 Plus. Company has silently announced the device without creating any buzz over web.

Well, the most enticing feature of this handset is its massive 4000mAh battery which is capable in delivering upto 17 hours of talk time and upto 792 hours of standby time. The Quick Charge technology is also there to boost-up the battery capacity in few hours of charge. 3 hours is enough to give the full-charge to the handset. Energy-saving software is also loaded in device to enhance it more in capacity.

However, it lacks on connectivity side compared to its family members as it supports 3G, no 4G connectivity is possible with Lenovo A5000. It creates conundrum about the pricing that why company has given this new handset high price tag than its predecessors while they have more enticing features than this new handset. The reason could be its ergastic battery which you have not seen in any other A series smartphones.

This dual SIM smartphone flaunts a 5-inch IPS display which offers HD (720x1280 pixels) screen resolution. Lenovo A5000 takes the power from 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor which is complimented by 1GB RAM and Mali T760-MP2 GPU for fast and seamless performance. An 8GB built-in storage with option of expandable storage of upto 32GB is also there and it runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS. You can get better imaging experience with 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera.

GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB are few other connectivity options. However, company store is showing the available option to buy this handset, but the shipping will begin on April 29.
