Lenovo Launched Budget-Friendly Smartphone A6600 at INR 6,999

Lenovo again pushed a new smartphone in the market with the name of A6600 having a wide range of features. This budget smartphone of Lenovo has a decent price tag of INR 6,999 while the MOP of the same is INR 6,600. The smartphone will be available with the offline retailers as of now.

This new A-series smartphone sports a 5-inch HD IPS display and boots on Android Marshmallow OS. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor engaged with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD.

As for the optics, the Android smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, apart from a 2-megapixel front camera. Other than this, Lenovo A6600 also supports 4G with VoLTE.

Along with these A6600 specifications, there is also a rumored news tilting towards a new smartphone in the same line up namely A6600 Plus going around on the popular tech news portals.

The rumored specs are that it features a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. There is a 16GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The Lenovo A6600 Plus has an 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear while the front camera spec is still in oblivion.

The smartphone boots on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and houses a 2300mAh non-removable battery. Talking about the connectivity features, Lenovo A6600 Plus is a Dual SIM smartphone (GSM and GSM) that accepts two Micro-SIM. Connectivity options on the handset include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.
