Lenovo's Zuk demos Transparent Screen Smartphone Prototype

Lenovo's only backed up online brand Zuk came up with its first smartphone early this week. After the launch of the Zuk Z1 in China, the company unveiled the prototype model of its new smartphone with transparent display. It has not been finished yet. Zuk is trying to come up with the concepts which are supposed to be launched in the late 2015 or by early 2016.



After the demo of the transparent bezel-less smartphone in the league, the company reveals its feature and compares it to the latest smartphones pursuing the features of the traditional smartphone. The smartphone poses features like display images, making phone calls, play music and many more like Android platform.

As reported by Gizmo China, the prototype display will be a transparent panel. No words have been uttered on the performance and the screen resolution as the prototype only displays a girl that does hint about the pixel density.



Samsung and LG had already showcased their prototype of the transparent display along with the foldable Youm display and bezel-less display in the past. The tech giants are now having a competitor in the market with its prototype image unveiled. The company aims to beat Xiaomi in the long run with its launch of Zuk Z1, high end hardware support smartphone at just Rs 18,250. Zuk Z1 sports 5.5-inch display, a large 4100mAh battery, fingerprint sensor, optical image stabilization feature, a 13 MP rear camera with Sony Sensor and last but most important USB Type-C Port.

Lenovo has not yet announced the plan to launch its online-only brand smartphones in the Indian and other markets, but it is expected to bring up its innovations among the leaders.
