LG G6+, G6 32GB Smartphones Unveiled

Looking at the tough competition from its rivals, LG, on Monday introduced two new variants in its flagship G6 lineup. This step has undoubtedly taken by the company to enhance its consumer base by attracting more customers. The new offerings by the company include a 128GB inbuilt storage variant, which is dubbed as LG G6+, and a 32GB variant which will be called as LG G6 32GB. The bigger variant is already listed on company’s official UK website, whereas the other variant has been announced in Korea and will soon available in the country. Apart from it, LG has also announced to provide new features and other improvements to all of its G6 users in the new software update.

The key and may be the only difference between the previously launched standard LG G6 (64GB) Android smartphone and its new variants is their storage capacity. As their name describes, the LG G6 32GB comes with 32GB inbuilt memory space, whereas the G6+ comes with a massive 128GB inbuilt storage. Some reports have also sprouted in the market the LG G6+ also comes with 6GB RAM, but there is no confirmation received from the company yet. Interestingly, the South Korean manufacturer had previously decided to introduce all the three variants in different markets, in which some will get wireless charging support and some won’t.

Being top of the line smartphone, the LG G6+ Dual-SIM handset will be blessed with wireless charging support along with the high-fidelity quad-DAC feature in all the markets, whereas, the smallest sibling will be seen with just half the inbuilt storage and no further enhancement in any other feature. Moreover, the company has also introduced new colour range with the models, still, other specifications will nearly remain same.

The LG G6 32GB GSM handset will be available in non-optical Terra Gold, non-optical Marine Blue, and an already available Mystic White colour variants, whereas, the LG G6+ will be available in Optical Astro Black, Optical Marine Blue, and Optical Terra Gold colour variants. Notably, the previously launched LG G6 64GB variant will now be seen in two two new optical colours including Optical Marine Blue and Optical Terra Gold.

Apart from this, the company has also announced to unveil new feature in its upcoming software update, which will include Face Print, Low Power Consumption, and Covered Lens warning. Instead of giving any confirmation regarding the rolling out of its new software update and LG G6+ smartphone, LG in a statement said, “the exact dates of availability of the software update and the LG G6+ will be announced locally in each market.”
