LG G7 One and G7 Fit Showcased Ahead of IFA 2018

LG, the South- Korean giant has launched two smartphones, called LG G7 One and G7 Fit, ahead of the International Funkausstellung (IFA) Berlin 2018. The IFA radio show is to be commenced from 31 August in Berlin and the top technology companies have started unveiling products that they want to showcase there.

LG is one of the companies which has showcased two smartphones before the commencement of the consumer electronics event. The LG G7 One is a part of Google’s Android One Programme, that means it is being certified by Google to offer an optimized stock Android version.

As a part of the Android One Programme, it gets software updates and security patches from time to time.

Both the LG G7 One and LG G7 Fit share similar specifications but the major difference is in their RAM and storage options. Both of the smartphones have single cameras on the rear panel.

The key highlights of LG G7 One and LG G7 Fit include a 6.1-inch QHD+ display panel along with notch, a single 16MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera, certified with rating IP68 for dust and water resistance, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3,000mAh battery along with Quick Charge 3.0 Technology and a military-grade exterior (adhering to the MIL-STD 810G standard).

As of now, the company has not revealed the price of both smartphones which is expected to be unveiled at the time of local availability.

LG G7 One Specifications

As mentioned above, the LG G7 One is a part of Google's Android One programme and runs on stock Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone comes with a 6.1-inch QHD+ display with the screen resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels.

In terms of hardware, it has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC integrated with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be extended further up to 2TB by using a microSD card.

In terms of camera department, the LG G7 One comes with a single 16-megapixel rear camera offering an aperture of f/1.6, an LED flash and 71-degree wide-angle lens. Up front, the smartphone gets an 8-megapixel selfie snapper offering an aperture of f/1.9 and 80-degree wide-angle lens.

The LG G7 One has 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, FM radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is bundled with 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC and Boombox Speaker.

The LG G7 One is armed with a 3,000mAh battery along with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The dimensions of the smartphone are 153.2x71.9x7.9mm and weight is 156 grams.

LG G7 Fit Specifications

The LG G7 Fit bears a 6.1-inch QHD+ FullVision display with the screen resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC coupled with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM.

The LG G7 Fit runs Android 8.1 Oreo and sports a 6.1-inch QHD+ (1440x3120 pixels) Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, paired with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB/ 64GB internal storage. Further, the internal storage capacity can be extended further up to 2TB by using a microSD card.

The connectivity options in the the LG G7 Fit include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C. It is powered by a 3,000mAh battery along with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

The dimensions and weight of the smartphone are 153.2x71.9x7.9mm and 160 grams respectively. The 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC and Boombox Speaker features are available in the LG G7 Fit.
