LG Q9 One | Android One Smartphone with SD 835 SoC Launched

LG launched LG Q9 smartphone in January 2019 in South Korea and now a Q9 One variant has been launched by the company in the country. The LG Q9 One features a display notch and single camera setup at the back. It has a fingerprint sensor at the back for security and by long pressing the fingerprint sensor, the Google Assistant will open. The smartphone runs on Android Pie out of the box and is also the part of the Android One programme. The LG Q9 One comes with Snapdragon 835 SoC and has water resistant capabilities and is also a military grade certified. While the LG Q9 comes with Snapdragon 821 SoC which runs on Android Oreo out of the box.

Price and availability of LG Q9 One

In South Korea, the new LG Q9 One variant costs KRW 599,500 (approx. Rs 37,900). The smartphone comes in a Moroccan Blue color option. From February 15, 2019, it will be made available on LG U+.

The front of the LG Q9 One variant has a display with a slightly thick bezel on the bottom, and there is a wide notch on the top in which all the sensors are present. At the back, there is a single camera setup along with LED flash support and also a fingerprint sensor in the centre is present for security.

Specifications of LG Q9 One

The LG Q9 One variant runs on the Android Pie software out of the box. It is powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC. The smartphone sports a 6.1-inch QHD+ display with the screen resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 564ppi pixel density. The Q9 One hold 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 2TB via a microSD card slot.

In terms of the optics, the LG Q9 One variant at the back has a 16MP camera sensor with f/1.6 aperture, HDR10, and OIS support. At the front, the smartphone sports an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calling.

The LG Q9 One variant measures 153.2x71.9x7.9mm and is of 156 grams weight. It packs a 3,000mAh battery and comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3 support. The Connectivity options in the smartphone includes NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, FM radio, and USB-Type C port. The Q9 One variant comes with MIL-STD-810G military grade certification and IP68 certification.
