LG to Launch G6 With Wireless Charging And Waterproofing Abilities at MWC 2017

LG is expecting way too much for its upcoming flagship smartphone G6, which is going to be introduced at the upcoming MWC 2017. The company’s G5 didn’t perform well in the smartphone market and had been criticized for its modular design. But, this time LG is going to unveil its new G6 handset which is far better than its predecessor. The company is now teasing its upcoming design, and the video shows the waterproofing abilities and a big screen with good gripping of the new smartphone.

The company has uploaded a teaser video, which shows that the upcoming product will fulfill all of the user expectations, and will be getting introduced in the month of February this year. The teaser video also showed water resistance ability of G6, which has not been seen in any of LG’s previous smartphones. The uploaded video also showed the elegant design of the handset and pointed on the improved durability of it.

LG, some days ago also has launched a 5.7-inch QHD display of resolution 1440 X 2880 pixels with an aspect ratio 18:9 and 564 ppi of pixel density. The new display by the company has been claimed to provide a completely different viewing experience along with a great multitasking performance to the user. This display is expected to be seen coupled up with G6 Android smartphone.

Concerning the other specifications of the new GSM smartphone, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. It will be backed up by a removable battery along with Quick charge 4.0, and may also be introduced with wireless charging. Moreover, the new Dual-SIM handset will be designed by a mixture of metal and glass and also packs a USB Type-C port. As per some reports by WSJ, it will arrive with a price tag between USD500-USD600 (Rs 34,000 to Rs 41,000 approx) just like its previous siblings.
