LG V20 Launched With Android Nougat And 16 MP Dual Rear Camera

LG has revealed the LG V20, the first ever smartphone that has been launched with Android 7.0 Nougat. The LG V20 will be accessible in LG's home country Korea and will soon be launched in the other parts of the world including India. There's no word so far on the cost of the LG V20. This latest smartphone by LG is made out of AL6013 metal that is used to build aircraft, sailboats, and mountain bikes and the company claims that the smartphone can easily survive drops from a height of four feet.

The LG V20 sports a 5.7-inch principle IPS Quantum Display along with an auxiliary display, that was earlier seen on the LG V10. The secondary display on the LG V20 accompanies a text dimension that is 50 percent bigger text dimension as compared to V10, making it simpler to view notifications and alerts. The new Expandable Notifications highlight gives users a chance to tap a button on the Second Screen to amplify notifications in order to check long messages at a glance and rapidly send an answer or share data.

The LG V20 have features like 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC (with backing for flac, did, diff and alac document formats), HD Audio Recorder, and B&O PLAY speakers, to keep the audiophile in you upbeat. LG has packed the V20 to the with elements to keep shutterbugs happy also. There's a double back camera setup, a 135-degree 8-megapixel lens joined by 16-megapixel 75-degree lens, joined by a 5-megapixel 120-degree lens on the front. The Auto Shot features to detect when you are smiling and automatically clicks a selfie.

The LG V20's Hybrid Auto Focus (HAF) coordinates three AF mechanism – Laser Detection AF, Phase Detection AF, and Contrast AF – for both videos and photographs. LG V20 can also record Hi-Fi recordings and the optional Low Cut Filter (LCF) innovation is said to evacuate undesirable background sound and Limiter (LMT) while recording sound, which can now be captured 24-bit/48 kHz Linear Pulse Code Modulation (LPCM). OIS 3.0 is thrown in for good measure.

LG V20 is the first smartphone to come with the Android 7.0 Nougat, and the Google In Apps search function, with LG UX 5.0+, an updated form of the LG UX 5.0 initially presented on the LG G5. The new In-App look in the Google application gives users a chance to discover content from inherent applications including contacts, messages, instant messages, and photographs, and additionally from users installed applications. It also includes the Multi-window mode, that gives felicitates you to run two apps.

“The LG V20 is designed to offer customers a more dynamic experience by building on the most popular video and audio features of the V series,” said Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics and Mobile Communications Company. “With the LG V20, we are giving our customers more of everything they love and less of anything they don’t need to set a new standard for premium smartphones.”

LG V20 packs in a USB Type-C port and it will be made available in the titan, silver, and pink colors. As far as other specifications are concerned, the LG V20 is fueled by a quad-core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820, with two cores clocked at 2.15GHz and the other two running at 1.6GHz. The device will come in two different options of 32GB and 64GB storage choices, with a microSD space to increase storage by another 256GB. The LG V20 has been powered with the 3200mAh battery.
