LG V30 Will Officially Launch on 30th August

LG has chosen to announce its next flagship smartphone V30 on 30th August at IFA Event 2017. Ahead of the official launch, several leaks and rumors about the upcoming LG V30 are going viral on social media platforms. It is tipped that the smartphone will be available in two variants- Regular and Plus. The pricing details of both variants of LG V30 have been leaked and it is anticipated that the price of the regular model is lower than its predecessor V20 at launch. Some of the rumors have suggested that the smartphone will come up with the OLED display while other reports suggest that the upcoming LG V30 will support daydream feature. Nevertheless, everyone is assured that it will stand among the flagships of the market.

Talking about the official information from LG, the company reported that the smartphone will be running on the new UX 6.0+ operating system. Through this operating system, this latest LG smartphone has been optimized to work better along with the OLED Full Vision display (aspect ratio of 18:9). The company further added that the UX 6.0+ will be providing more personalisation preferences to users.

Whereas leaks already suggested that the LG will be disposing secondary display which was available in previous LG V series smartphones and now it will come with a ‘ Floating Bar’. According to the latest leaks and reports, the company reported that the upcoming V30 smartphone will be equipped with a floating bar feature that "inherits the convenience" of the second screen as compared to previous models.

The company said in its press release that, the Floating Bar is semi- transparent and allows users to access frequently used functions and can be dragged off to full vision display when not in use.
LG said in its press release, "When powered off, the Always-on Display is even more customizable than before. The AOD now not only shows the clock, it can also be set to display Quick Tools, Music Player or a personal photograph as well.” LG V30 Will Officially Launch on 30th August

The LG V30 features a dual rear camera setup, the UX 6.0 has been designed in such a manner to make the most out of the hardware. The smartphone will further come along with another feature called Graphy. Graphy is a tool that can be accessed from the Manual Mode, which provides added options to the users who are interested in photography.


The company said, "With Graphy, users can choose from among a portfolio of professional shots, each with a different style and mood or they can download photos taken by professionals from the Graphy website or mobile app and apply those metadata presets - such as white balance, shutter speed, aperture and ISO - to photos taken with the V30.”

Recently, LG has announced that the upcoming V30 will come up with a dual rear camera set up along with an aperture of f/1.6 and also with ‘clearest’ lens.

Both the variants of LG, V30 and V30 Plus have anticipated to sports a 6-inch screen along with OLED Full Vision display. According to the latest leak reports, The Plus variant is likely to come with 128GB inbuilt storage whereas on another hand the regular variant will feature a 64GB of inbuilt storage. It is tipped that there is a difference of wireless charging capabilities and audio department in both variants of smartphones.

Both LG V30 and LG V30 Plus, are anticipated to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and a dual rear camera set- up featuring a 16-megapixel sensor (standard angle) and a 13-megapixel sensor (optical angle). The two models are expected to pack 3,200 mAh battery and will be coupled with 6GB RAM.

It is tipped that the LG V30 and V30 plus will be available at a price of Rs 800,000 KRW (roughly Rs. 44,900) and KRW 1,000,000 (roughly Rs. 56,100) respectively.
