List of Smartphone to Receive Android Marshmallow Soon

Android M is official and it is set to bring new improvements to all manner of Google powered smartphones. It assigns new tools and features, such as Now on Tap and power-saving Doze mode.
Although, it made its official debut in early October 2015, not all the smartphones will get it immediately.

It is not easy to get the complete details about the Android M to roll out on the other devices except its carrier devices, so this is the compiled list of all the smartphones which are going to receive the update message of Android 6.0.

Android M sets its target on the basis of first come first serve. It will always provide first Android updates faster in its flagship smartphones. This is because each carrier has to receive the updates, test and then approve it for release on their network.

Google Nexus devices


Google's Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7(2013 edition), Nexus 9and Nexus Player are getting the updates from October 5. However, the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P will be shipped with already installed Android Marshmallow.

Nexus 4, Original Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 are excluded from the update.

HTC
HTC on the Twitter mentions the list of its devices which will get Marshmallow. The HTC One M8 and One M9 will both receive the Android 6.0 by the end of 2015.

HTC will also introduce a new smartphone that will arrive with Android M, according to the company's event invitation.

MOTOROLA
Motorola officially announced some of its devices to get the updated OS. It is expected that most of the smartphones will get the update in early 2016.

SONY
Sony Officially announced that many of its Xperia phones will get Android 6.0 but that roll-out will be slow.

LG
LG clues on the Korean support site, pointing to LG G4 and LG G3 getting the update. There is no other information about recently debuted LG V10 to get the update.

Samsung


Samsung will get the updates on its flagship devices, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge and it is also expected that the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus also get Android 6.0.
