Meizu M8c Launched Featuring 5.45-inch Display, 18:9 Aspect Ratio and More

Meizu, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer announces the new smartphone, dubbed as M8c specifically in Russia which has been priced at RUB 9,990 (approximately Rs 11,100). The smartphone is available in Gold, Red, Blue, and Black color options. Some of the highlighting features of Meizu M8c are 18:9 aspect ratio display and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Presently, there is no information about the price and availability of Meizu M8c global launch.

Meizu M8c Specifications

Meizu M8c features a 5.45-inch HD+ display, 18: 9 aspect ratio, screen resolution of 720x1440 pixels and protected with 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset. It is equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage that can be further extended up to 128GB by using a memory card.

In terms of photography, Meizu M8c features a single 13-megapixel rear camera offering an aperture of f/2.2, panoramic lens, Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF), 5-element lens and ArcSoft algorithms. At the front, the smartphone sport an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0, featuring Face AE technology, 4-element lens, and the same ArcSoft capabilities. Under the hood, it is fueled by a 3070mAh battery.

In terms of connectivity, Meizu M8c comes with 4G VoLTE (Band 40 supported), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. In terms of dimensions, it measures 146.4x70x8.5mm and the weight of the smartphone is 140 grams.

Earlier this month, the company launched Meizu 15, Meizu 15 Plus and Meizu 15 Lite in China. Alongside Meizu 15 series, the company also previewed latest Flyme OS 7 software update at the launch event. The new software update has several impressive features such as facial recognition technology, night mode, beautification, a new Data Rescue feature, and among others.
