Meizu, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer company is scheduling an event on December 5 in New Delhi, where the company is gearing to launch its latest flagships - Meizu M16th, Meizu M6T and the mid-range budget smartphone in the Indian market (the name is not confirmed at the moment). However, the Meizu has been unveiling its latest flagships more than 18 months after the launch of Meizu M5 which was announced in India on May 2017. The key highlights of the Meizu 16th are under- display fingerprint scanner, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, mCharge technology along with fast- charging support. It is anticipated that the company will be planning to include ‘M\' in front the name of the device as of now it is not confirmed.
The rumored Meizu M 16th will be the renamed version of Meizu 16 that was initially unveiled in the China market in August this year (2018) along with Meizu 16 Plus. The Meizu 16 comes with a starting price of CNY 2,698 (approximately Rs 27,100) for the base 6GB RAM+64GB storage, while the Meizu 16 Plus comes with a starting price of CNY 3,198 (roughly Rs. 32,100) for the base 6GB RAM+128GB storage model. It seems that the phone would compete against the likes of the OnePlus 6T in India,
On another hand, the Meizu 16T was initially unveiled in the China market in May this year at a price tag of CNY 799 roughly Rs. 8,000. It comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ display, a MediaTek MT6750 SoC, dual rear sensors, Face AE technology is available in the selfie camera. A report claims that the Meizu 6T will be launched in India as the Meizu M6T.
As of now, there is a dilemma regarding the name of the third mid-range Meizu phone which is set to be unveiled on December 5 at an event in New Delhi. The upcoming mid-range Meizu phone likely to be called either with Meizu 16X or Meizu X8 in the Indian market, however, there is no clear information about this. The rumored Meizu 16X said to feature Snapdragon 710 SoC, the specs and name of the upcoming mid-range device is based on the rumors. However, the actual information about the rumored Meizu 16X will be disclosed at the event in New Delhi. The Meizu 16X was launched in China in September this year along with Meizu X8.
On the basis of the China variant, the Meizu 16 features a 6-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display, having the screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, 18:9 aspect ratio and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. Under the hood, the Meizu 16 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with an Adreno 630 GPU, 6GB/ 8GB of RAM, and 64GB/ 128GB onboard storage.
For photography, the Meizu 16 features dual- sensors on the rear panel consisting of a 12MP primary sensor and a 20MP secondary sensor with a telephoto lens. For selfies and video calling the Meizu 16 gets a 20MP front-facing camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and AI-powered features. Under the hood, it is powered by a 3,010 mAh battery along with the support of mCharge fast charging. It supports dual- sim (Nano).

On the basis of the China launch, the Meizu 6T comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ In-Cell display, Android 7.0 Nougat- out of the box, having the screen resolution of 720x1440 pixels, 18:9 aspect ratio, MediaTek MT6750 SoC, paired with up to 4GB of RAM and supports dual- sim (Nano).
In terms of lens, the Meizu 6T features dual sensors on the rear panel which includes a 13MP primary Sony IMX278 RGB sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor with an aperture lens of f/2.2 and f/2.0 respectively, Up front, there is an 8MP selfie snapper with an aperture lens of f/2.0 It packs a 3,300mAh battery.
As per the information of the China variant, the Meizu 16X features a 6-inch full-HD+ AMOLED panel, Android 8.0 Oreo, Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB internal storage
For photography, the Meizu 16X packs dual 12MP secondary and 20MP secondary sensor on the rear panel. Up front, there is a 20MP selfie snapper with the support of Face Unlock feature. It packs a 3,100mAh battery bundled with mCharge technology.
