A domestic mobile maker Micromax is ready to make entry in smartphone market with Bolt AD4500. The handset has already been listed online to buy at Rs. 5,290. Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, this is another device to add in the list of budget smartphones. And e-commerce website eBay India is selling this handset while the Company has not made any official announcement for the same.
Featuring 4.5-inch FWVGA display, this device provides 480x854 pixels screen resolution. It takes the power from 1.3GHz dual-core processor, no word on chipset. A 512MB of RAM is quite enough to make such a budget device’s multitasking smooth. Specification of Micromax Bolt AD4500 was posted by a Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom on Thursday. It is said that the market operating price of this budget device will be Rs. 5,249 while MRP for the same will be Rs. 6,599.
For a great picture taking experience, this smartphone has a 5-megapixel shooter on rear side and a 0.3-megapixel shooter at front side. This smartphone comes equipped with 4GB internal storage while there is no detail has been found regarding expandable storage yet. It is packed with a 2000mAh battery and has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth option for connectivity purpose.
Earlier the Company had introduced Bolt A065 budget smartphone, which also runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat platform and has same 512MB RAM and 1.3GHz dual-core processor. It seems like Company is planning to expand its business in the budget smartphone market by producing an array of budget device for Indian customers with almost all smart features.
