Micromax, Yu Televentures has announced the deduction in the price of its Yu Yuphoria smartphone in the country by Rs.500. The handset is now available to purchase on the e-commerce website Amazon at a price tag of Rs.6,499.
The smartphone is now available with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box instead of Cynogen OS. This smartphone was launched earlier in May at Rs.6,999.
Now, moving to the specifications, the smartphone is featuring a 5-inch HD TFT IPS display with 720*1280 pixels of resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and coupled with Adreno 306 GPU. The device is protected with the third generation Corning Gorilla Glass.
The dual SIM based smartphone clubs a 2GB of RAM and have the native storage of 16GB which is further expandable via microSD card slot expansion. The smartphones Steel variant can be bought from Amazon India for Rs. 6,499 and its Cynogen OS variant is still listed with Rs. 6,999 price tag.
The Yu Yuphoria supports 4G LTE connectivity, and equips an 8 megapixel camera at the rear end with an aperture f/2.2 lens and LED flash. Its another camera features 5 megapixel at the front panel on the board with f/2.0 aperture. It comes with an app theme that allow users to customize the look and feel of the device. Also a user can expect a Truecaller Integrated dialer.
