The first Microsoft branded Lumia 535 has finally been touched the Indian shores and will begin to spread its ambience in the Indian breeze from Friday, November 28. With its elegance and excellence, the Redmond giant is bringing Non-Nokia Lumia handset hopefully to captivate Indian hearts, presenting it at Rs 9,199 only. Its front-facing camera can be considered as the prime feature of this device.
Built wise, the Lumia 535 and Nokia Lumia 530 looks like both have cut from the same cloth, but dedicated to different branding. Back cover, dipped in colors and rounded corner, all seem identical. However, being the first Microsoft Lumia device, Company has put its best effort to make it a feature rich device, adding the front shooter. But, somewhere at display side, it lacks in resolution with 960x540 pixels which offers 220ppi pixels density on a 5-inch qHD IPS LCD display.
The device teased earlier in an invite which engraved with a big 5 and a date, showing the expected India launch of this smartphone. And now, the Windows smartphone is out now for Indians.
On the imaging side, a 5MP rear snapper with LED flash and same 5MP front shooter are embedded to make it a must-to-buy smartphone. Running on Windows Phone 8.1 OS, this handset is meant for people with tight-budget. Dual SIM variant of this handset has been launched which has nothing different in specs than single SIM variant, except SIM slot.
1GB RAM and 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor incorporated to offer fast performance. 8GB inbuilt storage, 128GB expandable storage and 1905mAh battery are few more specifications of this handset. This smartphone also supports Cortana voice assistant, but India will not take the benefit of this feature. 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS are few connectivity feature of this Lumia device. It will be available to buy in cyan, bright green, bright orange, white, dark grey and black color.
